here's the story behind why we started this...

Our founders, who are from rural backgrounds, understand the challenges of limited mentorship. We're on a mission to ensure every student, regardless of their circumstances, has access to mentorship throughout their university admissions journey.

addressing the concerns of students nationwide

Engineering Program Information

A barrier I experienced while searching for post-secondary education was program information. Even though presentations were offered for several Ontario universities, only general information was given.

For example, any specialized knowledge regarding the difference in engineering disciplines could only be found online in convoluted hard-to-navigate University websites where no standardized format was used in sharing information.

Limited Info & Resources for Out-of-Province Universities

As a student from a rural community, I found that most information about student organizations and universities was quite localized and mostly pertained to nearby institutions in Alberta and Saskatchewan. That is why I felt like I lacked much knowledge about clubs and university resources before attending a prestigious university like McGill. I would have truly benefitted from having an advisor who could personally help me find the program and university that was right for me.

Special Insight of Current Students

As an international student in a rural community, I wasn't sure about the national reputations and student life of all the Canadian universities I was applying to. There was a special kind of insight and knowledge I lacked to decide between my options for university, and I felt that I needed a close mentor and contact that I could ask for support.

our goal

Our goal is to help high school students build a seamless, fluid transition into university, no matter where they live; all mentorship we provide is free of charge.
