Judy Moon is an incoming Health Sciences student at Queen's University. Coming from Peace River (Alberta), she has experienced the disparities in mentorship between metropolitan and rural areas. She hopes that Bridge to Campus will help alleviate the socioeconomic barriers in transitioning to post-secondary education, and high school students will be given an optimistic outlook on what post-secondary education entails.

Christina is a health sciences student at Queen’s University, and has personally experienced the profound difference a mentor can make during pivotal transitions. She believes that everyone, regardless of the challenges they face, deserves the opportunity to benefit from mentorship. Through bridge to campus, she’s committed to helping students overcome barriers and thrive both academically and personally.

Amanda is a first-year commerce student studying at Queens with a passion for continuing acts of kindness. She lived in a semi-rural community and struggled to find resources for applications. Thankfully, she received help from several mentors and upperclassmen, supporting her along the way. With drastic changes in admissions processes for competitive programs, she believes her experience can help future years of driven students achieve their goals. 

Ramneek is an incoming first year Health Sciences student at Queen’s University. As the daughter of immigrant parents, she knows how isolating the transition to university can be without proper guidance or the support of people who have gone through the admissions process before. Having recently gone through the process herself, she hopes to make the transition easier for other students who have also been in the same shoes as her. 

Girish is a health sciences student at Queen's University who's interested in neuroscience. He wants to provide others with the mentorship and guidance he lacked when applying to university. In his last years of high school, Girish learnt all the nooks and crannies of applications to schools in Ontario, British Columbia, the USA, and California. He aims to use Bridge to Campus as a platform where he can share important information and help high school students navigate barriers.

Danny Yu is a Health Sciences student at Queen's University. He is from Ottawa and recognizes the lack and need of mentorship in underserved communities. Through various fundraisers and financial budgeting, he hopes to support Bridge to Campus in its goal of creating a smooth transition into university for high school students, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
