
Meet The Co-Presidents of Bridge to Medicine

Henry Xie
Co-President, Bridge to Medicine
​
Henry is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto and the founder of Bridge to Medicine, a mentorship initiative supporting equity-deserving applicants on their path to medical school. He previously studied Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University before entering medical school and has a strong interest in health equity, community advocacy, and academic mentorship. Through Bridge to Medicine, Henry is committed to creating accessible, community-driven support for students historically underrepresented in medicine.

Victor Lam
Co-President, Bridge to Medicine

Victor is a second-year medical student at the University of Toronto and the first in his family to pursue a career in medicine. He holds a master’s degree in microbiology and Immunology and is currently serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. Passionate about reducing barriers for underrepresented students, Victor is committed to creating accessible and supportive pathways into medicine through Bridge to Medicine.
