Introducing Bridge to Medicine

Bridge to Medicine is a student-led initiative under the Bridge to Campus network that aims to support equity-deserving students on their path to medical school. Created by medical students at the University of Toronto, the program connects applicants with personalized mentorship, interview preparation, and practical guidance through webinars and one-on-one support. Whether students are navigating the application process for the first time or seeking extra insight into the interview stage, Bridge to Medicine is committed to fostering a more inclusive and supportive pre-med community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to reduce barriers to medical school for students from underrepresented and equity-deserving backgrounds—including those who identify as Indigenous, Black, 2SLGBTQIA+, low-income, first-generation, rural, or living with disability. We believe that the future of medicine must reflect the diversity of the communities it serves. By providing free, high-quality mentorship and resources, we aim to empower aspiring medical students with the tools, confidence, and community they need to succeed.

We're recruiting directors of Bridge to Medicine!

Whether you are a current medical student or a pre-med undergrad student, you could be a great addition to the Bridge to Medicine executive team!

Click below to apply and become a part of our growing team today! Please note that there is a separate application form for Non-MD students (eg. undergraduate students) and for MD students.
